Selda Baltacı
I was born in 1967. In February 1990, I graduated from Mimar Sinan University where I
was trained as an architect. I worked in several architecture offices until 1995, when I
started my own practice working from home. Later in 1997 I founded my office. In
2005 I relocated the office to the current building, which is among those I renovated in
the historic neighborhood of Kuzguncuk.
My practice focuses primarily on restoration and implementation projects. I act as the
sole responsible expert throughout the processes restoration projects require, from
providing detailed architecture documentations to obtaining permits from the
preservation board and related building licenses.
My work has been published in a number of architecture and design magazines since
1998.
